PAYECOM respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information and the data to which is entrusted unto PAYECOM to deliver to its merchants. PAYECOM has published this Privacy Policy Statement in order to demonstrate its firm commitment to privacy and to comply with the hiighest standards in global Privacy Principles.

Information Collection and Use - You the PAYECOM Merchant
PAYECOM collects personally identifiable information when person applies for a secure PAYECOM credit card payment gateway merchant account. When person applies with PAYECOM, we ask for contact information (such as your name, address and e-mail address), as well as certain information pertaining to the business about to use the PAYECOM service. This is needed by PAYECOM to accuratly process each application for the PAYECOM service and to deliver this service to the merchant. At no stage, whatsoever, will this information be used for any other purpose other than to assess and establish a new PAYECOM merchant account.

Information Collection and Use - Your Customers
PAYECOM is entrusted to collect, upon merchants instructions, the credit card details of customers for the purpose of delivering this data to merchants for processing into the merchant's merchant account held at their bank. At no stage, whatsoever, is any data from customer retained for any other purpose other than to deliver it to merchant in accordance with merchants instructions and in accordance with the MERCHANT AGREEMENT - TERMS OF SERVICE - USER AGREEMENT.

NO STORING OF INFORMATION
Once Payecom has perfromed its task and merchant is in receipt of the trasnaction data, there is no evidence on the PAYECOM servers of any transactions taking place. For merchant and merchant's customer absolute security and peace of mind, PAYECOM does NOT permanently store any form of transaction data history. Therefore PAYECOM does not permanently store any form of personally identifable information on its servers. See Payecom Security

PAYECOM does not share nor disclose any information that has come to PAYECOM from either a merchant or merchant's customer or any of its contact or support forms on its website.

INFORMATION SECURITY
Information security is critical to our business. All information is protected during transmission by Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), which encrypts information for both customer when using a secure PAYECOM payment page, and merchant when using the merchant's secure admin area. Whilst utilising the PAYECOM secure merchant account system at NO stage does any communication happen between customer and PAYECOM or merchant and PAYECOM that is outside the protection of the SSL encrypted session.

Further, PAYECOM utilises powerful 2048 bit encryption technology to further encrypt the actual contents entered into the secure PAYECOM payment pages when merchants use the PAYECOM ST service merchants will get to see the raw encrypted data prior to the decrypt program decrypting it using the merchants own unique key. A merchants unique key is the only one in the world that can decrypt the PAYECOM data specifically encrypted for that particular merchant. Every single PAYECOM credit card payment gateway merchant account is served from its own unique and secure directory, this applies to both the PAYECOM UNIVERSAL and ST secure credit card payment gateway services.
